Towards a competitive and resilient European transport system

Towards a competitive and resilient European transport system

EWRC

13 Oct 2026 11h30Brussels

Transport is a vital pillar of the single market, yet rural, internal and border regions still face significant connectivity gaps, including limited access to quality rail links, airports and motorways. This workshop will explore the development of Europe's mobility, moving away from ideological bans to practical solutions that supports both citizens and the freight industry. Discussions will focus on completing the TEN-T corridors, enhancing military mobility, protecting connectivity, and exploring the role of alternative fuels. Modern transportation must respond to various challenges, including regions' different infrastructure needs and disparities in territorial development.
