This year's fourth edition of Congress 590 — the most prestigious meeting of business and politics in Poland — was attended by the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, who was the honorary patron of the event. As every year, the G2A Arena congress and exhibition centre in Jasionka, near Rzeszów, in the Polish province of Podkarpackie, brought together entrepreneurs, representatives of business-related institutions, the academic community, start-ups, economic experts as well as politicians and local and regional elected representatives. One of the main hosts of the Congress is ECR Member Władysław Ortyl, Marshal of Podkarpackie region.

For two days, several thousand participants discussed business, economic growth, development potential, investment, environmental protection, health and many other areas of life at both the micro and macro levels. Special guests at this year's congress included: George F. Close, President of the Spectrum Group and retired American army general, and Thomas J. Lee, one of the visionaries of blockchain technology and co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisers.

In keeping with the annual tradition at the Congress, President Andrzej Duda presented the President's Economic Awards to Polish companies that have demonstrated strong growth. Among the main guests was also the Prime Minister of Poland, Mr Mateusz Morawiecki.
