President Marsilio welcomes the outcome of the Mid-Term Review of Cohesion policy

Vice-President Droba on strengthening Europe’s resilience through dual-use infrastructure
The European Committee of the Regions has adopted ECR Rapporteur Juraj Droba's opinion on the future of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) during the Plenary session, sending a strong political message on the need to reinforce the territorial dimension of one of the EU’s key infrastructure funding programmes. The discussion saw the presence of European Parliament Vice-President Antonella Sberna, who is also and rapporteur for the CEF in the REGI Committee in the Parliament.

Aurigemma, Health emergency preparedness is delivered locally
"The issue of medical countermeasures is not only timely, but also of strategic importance for our regions and cities. Health emergency preparedness is something that is delivered locally, under real‑life constraints,” Antonello Aurigemma, ECR rapporteur and President of the Regional Council of the Lazio Region, said following the approval by the CoR Plenary session of his opinion on medical countermeasures. The approval marks an important step towards strengthening Europe’s health emergency preparedness with a strong territorial focus.
